CLAT 2019 Notification: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is one of the most prominent and famous common law admission exams managed by 18 National Law Universities (NLU) rotation wise. It is the all India level law common admission exam for the candidates who are trying admission in LLB/ UG (Under Graduate) and LLM/ PG (Post Graduate) educational programs in National Law Universities. Each year, the CLAT is conducted in the month of May. CLAT Scores are granted by many private law colleges and government undertaking colleges over the country. CLAT 2019 Eligibility Standard 

As every candidate knows the only eligible candidate can apply for CLAT, so the candidate must aware with eligibility standard of CLAT 2019 before filling CALT 2019 application form. Here applicants can find details regarding CLAT eligibility standard so that they can find, they are eligible or not eligible for the exam.

For Post Graduation Courses- The candidate who wants to do LLM/ PG from NLU for them here we are providing eligibility standards like  Age Limit, Qualification, and minimum marks etc. For the PG courses, no age limit define by CLAT authorities yet.The candidate of any age can participate in CLAT exam with the qualification for LL.M. is BA LL.B./Five-Year Integrated LL.B. (Hons.)/ any other similar exam and minimum qualifying marks must be 55% for unreserved /OBC/Specially Abled Persons and the minimum marks would be 50% for SC/ST candidate.

For Under Graduation Courses- If you want to take admission in BA LLB which is an undergraduate program,  here we are providing information regarding LLB/ UG eligibility standard. The candidate should check this. For UG courses candidates have age criteria the upper age limit of the applicant must not be more than 22 years as on 1st July 2019 (SC/ST/OBC/SAP category candidates) and 20 years for General category candidate.

If candidate complete these all then he/ she can eligible for CLAT2019.

CLAT 2019 Syllabus

For UG candidate- The syllabus will include subjects sections like English including Comprehension, General Knowledge(GK), Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, Maths (Only up to 10th class).

For PG candidate- The Syllabus will have to Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence and other law subjects like Human Rights, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, Environment Law, and Contract.

The candidate who successfully completed his registration process. They should aware of the exam pattern of CLAT 2019, which gives an idea about the paper and with the help of exam pattern the candidate can secure more marks in the exam. Marks scheme is same for both candidates UG and PG, they have two hours time for the exam and each right answer gives one mark and the wrong answer has 0.25 % of negative marking. The paper has only MCQ(multiple choice questions) type question.The exam is conducted in the only online mode which prefers only English language.

CLAT 2019 Application Form And Fee Structure

The Application Form of CLAT 2019 will be accessible from the official website of CLAT in the first week of January 2019. Applicants need to register themselves by forming a login account using an e-mail i.d. At the time of filling the form, candidates are also needed to fill the preference order for NLU. The candidates must upload the scanned copies of signature and photograph (Passport size) with not more than 100 KB. CLAT office is not accepting any hard copy of filled-in application form is to be sent to them.

The application fee for the general candidate is RS 4000 and for the ST/SC candidate need to pay RS 3500. Also, the Fee Structure of all NLU’s varies for LLB and LLM Courses as almost every NLU has a different fee Structure. For Instance, NLU Kochi and NLU Delhi are having different Fee Structures.
