Haryana TET 2018 Fill Application Form Online

In this competitive world, to select the persons for the job of a teacher is done through Teacher Eligibility Test. The test is conducted to ensure that the person selected for the post of the teacher has the ability to meet new challenges while teaching at primary, upper primary level and Secondary level. Therefore, to select such candidates from the pool of candidates, the Department of School Education and the Board of School Education conducts Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test. It is also commonly called as HTET. The Teacher Eligibility Test of Haryana is conducted as per the rules, regulations, instructions, and policies set down by National Council for Teacher Education Department of School Education of Haryana.

Haryana TET 2018 Updates

Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test Updates is that the private school teacher also has to qualify the teacher’s eligibility test. And the Human Resources Development of Ministry has ordered the state governments to implement this rule in all the states as soon as they can. As we know that central government is working to improve the education system in India. Hence it is necessary to improve the qualification level of teachers. Only then the teachers provide best guideline and education to the students.

Important Dates

  • Beginning with filling and submission of online application form: III week of June 2018
  • Last Date for filling and submitting HTET Application form 2018: Last week of June 2018
  • Last Date for the final submission after payment: 2nd July 2018
  • For making corrections in HTET Application form: 1st week of July 2018-2nd week of July 2018

Important Note: the candidates must have AADHAR number while applying for the Haryana TET.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Level 1: Primary Level Teacher (PRT)- Class I-V
    • The minimum educational qualification is as follows:
      • Either 10 + 2 or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks and Passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE Regulations, 2007 notified on 31 August 2009.

OR

Either 10 + 2 or its equivalent with minimum 45% marks and Passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE Regulations, 2002.

OR

Either 10 + 2 or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Either 10 + 2 or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education

  • Class 10th with Sanskrit/ Hindi or 10+2/ Graduation/Post Graduation in Hindi must be one of the subjects
  • Level 2: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Class VI-VIII
    • TGT Social Studies
      • Candidates must have a degree of either B.A. or B.Com and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, OR Candidates must have a degree of either B.A. or B.Com with minimum 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) ORA. /B.Com with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.); OR 10+2 with at least 50% marks and 4 year BA/B.Com Ed.; OR B.A./B.Com with minimum 50% marks & 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)
      • In case if candidate has the degree of B.A. /B.Com, then in addition to English, a combination of at least following two subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate individually in the subjects:- (1) History (2) Psychology (3) Economics (4) Sociology (5) Geography (6) Political Science

Syllabus and Pattern

Level – I – Classes I-V:: Primary Teacher

There will be only one paper.

No. of MCQs – 150;

Duration of examination: Two-and-a-half hours.

 (i) Child Development and Pedagogy- 30 MCQs -30 Marks
(ii) Language I (Hindi) -30 MCQs -30 Marks
(iii) Language II (English) -30 MCQs -30 Marks
 (iv) Mathematics -30 MCQs -30 Marks
(v.) Environmental Studies -30 MCQs -30 Marks

 Qualifying Marks 

  • General Category: 60%
  • SC, ST and Physically Handicapped: 55%

No Negative Marking in the HTET 2018

Level II- Elementary Stage (TGT)- Class VI-VIII

No. of MCQs – 150;

Duration of examination: Two-and-a-half hours.

 (i) Child Development and Pedagogy- 30 MCQs -30 Marks
(ii) Language I (English) -30 MCQs -30 Marks
(iii) Language II -30 MCQs -30 Marks
 (iv) a. Mathematics/ Science -60 MCQs -60 Marks
(iv) b. Social Studies -60 MCQs -60 Marks

Application form and fee

The mode of application is online. Therefore, candidates will go to the official website which is www.htet.nic.in. So, the candidate has to visit on this official website and then, has to search for online registration after that and clicking on it the candidate will see an application form. In this application form, the candidate has to fill correct details and then has to submit the application form along with the application fee on or before the last date.
