JEE MAIN 2018 EXAM PATTERN:PAPER-1
JEE MAIN exam is divided in to two papers. JEE Main paper-1 for B.tech/BE courses and 2nd for B.Arch. In paper-1, there will be 90 multiple choice questions(MCQ) from mathematics, physics and chemistry subjects. In the JEE Main 2018 paper-1 , 30 questions will asked from each subject mathematics, physics and chemistry. Applying candidates can choose their favorable language at the time of filling the application form. English and Hindi are the two languages in which you can write the paper. You can give this paper in both online and offline mode. Students are given 3 hours to write the exam whereas 4 hours for disable people.
JEE MAIN 2018 EXAM PATTERN: PAPER-2
JEE Main paper-2 is for B.Arch. aspirents. The candidates who wants to pursue their career in Architecture should write this exam. This exam consist of 82 multiple choice questions out of which 30 questions from mathematics, 50 questions from aptitude test and 2 questions of drawing test. Students can choose their choice of language, Hindi and English at the time of filling the application form. You can write this exam only in the offline mode.
MARKING SCHEME JEE MAIN 2018 PAPEE-1 AND PAPER-2
In paper-1 of JEE Main 2018, there will be 90 MCQ questions. You will be rewarded by ‘4’ marks for every correct answer and ‘-1’ mark for every incorrect answer. But if you don’t attempt the question, no mark will be deducted or credited in your account.
In JEE Main 2018 paper-2, all the mathematics and aptitude test questions carry 4 marks for correct answer and -1 mark for every wrong response or multi responses whereas no marks for unattended question.In this JEE MAIN 2018 paper-2, there will be two drawing questions of drawing which will carry 70 marks.
JEE MAIN 2018 SELECTION CRITERIA –
Every aspirant who writes the exam wishes to get selected but very few get passed in it. To get selection in JEE Main paper-1 and paper-2, a separate cut-off list will be generated. The maximum marks in both papers are 360 out of which SC/ST/OBC and general, all categories should achieve separate minimum/cut-off marks to become eligible to write JEE Advanced exam.
