CBSE JEE 2017 B.Tech/ B.Arch – 12th Class Percentage/ Age Limit (Relaxation) – New Rules
The Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi is going to conduct B.Tech Entrance Exam called JEE Main 2017. After qualifying in JEE Main 2017 the student get admission in UG Engineering (B.Tech) or B.Arch Course. As per the Brochure, there are two mode of written test a) Online Computer Based Test (CBT) and b) Offline – Pen Paper Mode. The candidate qualifying in the JEE Main, has to appear for JEE Advanced 2017 for admission in B.Tech @IIT’s. The registration process start from 1st December 2016. The candidate must note, that last date to fill online form is 2nd January 2017. The correction in filled JEE Main 2017 application shall be available in 2nd Week of January 2017.

12th Class Percentage
CBSE JEE Main 2017 new RULE that 12th board exam marks/ percentage/ grade has no weightage. For the candidates to qualify for admission in the HTs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th Class exam, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th-class exam conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying mark would be 65% In the 12th Class exam.
To eligible for JEE Main 2017 the candidate must also note that their date of birth is after 1st October 1997 (for general and OBC candidate) are eligible. If you belong to SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped (PWD), then your age limit is extended to 10 years. Please do check official notification to get full eligibility criteria ie.
