KCET 2017 ONLINE NOTIFICATION
Many student passing 12th this year will appear for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2017 for various technical, professional, medical and paramedical courses. Karnataka Common Entrance test mostly known as KCET is organized and conducted by government of Karnataka and Karnataka examination authority(KEA) jointly. After the results students can take admission in various courses such as B. TECH/ B.E./ MBBS/ BDS/MD/ B. PHARMACY/ BHMS/ BVMS/ BAMS/ B. PHYSIOTHERAPY and many more. Students interested must take note of the information listed below.
Application form date
The online exam forms for the KCET 2017 exam will most probably be out on the internet from the first week of JANUARY 2017.Last date for the filling up of the application form will tentatively be in the last week of FEBRUARY 2017. Similarily the last date for payment of the online exam form will also go till the last week of FEBRUARY 2017. PLEASE take note of the given application form dates.
Admit card download
Admit cards for the KCET examination is scheduled to be released by 2nd week of MARCH 2017.Students enrolled for KEAM 2017 can download the admit card by visiting the official website and then candidates need to feed their registration no. or application I.D. in order to download their respective admit cards.Students get their registration no. at the time of filling up of form. Without this registration no. Students can’t download the admit card. So please take clear note.
- Students coming for examination must bring hard copy of their admit card/hall ticket to the exam hall.
- Students need to arrive to the exam hall 60 minutes before the actual commencement of exam.
- Students need to bring their AADHAR CARD to the exam hall as it’s compulsory. No copies would be applicable.
- Students can wear formal/casual as per their wish.
- NO electronic gadgets are allowed inside the hall.

The registration form fees for the general and OBC candidates is Rs. 650 whereas for SC/ST candidates its Rs. 500. Please take note.
The date of exam is tentative to come and is scheduled to be held in MARCH 2017. Candidates get admission as per the ranks they have scored in the examination. The cut off list is decided on the basis of various factors such as students score, availability of seats, total no. of colleges, and the no of aspirants up for the test.Generally the % cut-off expected for this year for students for general (GEN) category is 50% of the total marks.For SC/ST candidates it’s got to be below or around 40%.
