Master of Commerce is an academic degree of postgraduate program. It is Master’s degree of 2 years. The course includes money and banking systems, principles of accounting, macroeconomics, microeconomics, business policies, trade policies and economic theories. In the second year of course, the candidates can choose the specialization as per their wish. They can have specialization in Taxation, Insurance, Accounting and Finance, Marketing, Statistics, Banking etc. The entire course focuses on Economics, Statistics, Business Studies, Accountancy, Marketing, Banking, Law, Finance, Management Studies and much more.

Eligibility

Candidates who passed graduation in commerce are eligible to apply for the course. They must have secured the minimum of 50% marks in B. Com. It can be varied from college to college. However, there are some colleges and universities who asks for only B. Com Hons in Economics/ Business/ Management Studies for the admission in the Master’s course of Commerce. Although, there are some universities which offer admission through entrance exams.

Application Form 2018- Master of Commerce Course Programs

The admission in the Master of Commerce is offered on the basis of the merit system. The interested candidates will fill the application form of their choice of college and institution. They will provide their personal and educational details in the application form. After filling the application form, they will submit it either online or offline. At the time of admission, the admission authorities will consider the aggregate marks scored in Graduation exams and merit list will be prepared. However, some of the universities like the University of Delhi conduct the entrance examination for the course of Master of Arts.
