MAHA B.Sc. Agriculture 2018 Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • The candidate minimum 17 years.
  • The candidate should have passed class 12th or having an equivalent qualification from a government recognized institute.
  • The candidate must have studied the following subjects such as PCB/ PCM/ PCMB for admission in UG Programs of Agriculture.

Tie Criteria

During the process of admission, it is found that marks are equal (tie criteria) then following guiding principles should be followed to decide the merit.

  • The higher percentage in Agriculture Polytechnic Examination.
  • The lesser number of attempts pass in in Agriculture Polytechnic Examination.
  • The higher percentage in 10th class.
  • The candidate elder in Age.
  • The Online application submitted first.

Admission Procedure

The candidate should read all the information about the admission process given in the prospectus carefully. The admission process for the State Agricultural Universities will be conducted by ‘KTPL’, Pune. For admission in the first year of B.Sc. (Agri.) over and above 10% seats of intake capacity will be available for Agriculture Polytechnic passed Candidates

For admission in Second Year of B.Sc. (Agri.) over and above 20% seats of intake capacity will be available for Agriculture Polytechnic passed (with minimum 60% marks for Open and Minimum 50% marks for backward classes) Candidates

Out of the above seats

  1. Firstly, seats for the candidates from the state of Maharashtra: 30 percent seats/ M ‘Quota’.
  2. Then, such candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from agriculture polytechnics that come under the jurisdiction of respective agriculture Universities of Maharashtra: 70 percent seat/ U ‘Quota’.

All the admissions shall be as per merit and shall be of the temporary/provisional type.

Application Form and Fee

The candidates those want to appear in the MAHA B.Sc.
